Why SACI

Both full-time and part-time options

We offer all of our programs in both Fulltime and Parttime options, so you can complete your studies either more intensively, or spread over more time to allow for a work or family lifestyle. All of our class schedules, Fulland Parttime, are made for working people, and we will offer our best efforts to accommodate individual needs. International students (nonEU) are generally required to attend Fulltime college programs to obtain visas for study in Ireland.

Handson learning from the start

Handson learning from the start, beginning with Anatomy and Physiology and progressing into Acupoint palpation, and Acupuncture practice, as students learn each channel. For every day of teaching, half of class time will be spent learning theory and half will be spent doing clinical practice.

Strong academic standards

Strong academic standards. Fulltime Diploma programmes provide over 900 hours of class study, with additional clinical training available if desired. We also offer the only Level 7 Degree in Acupuncture and TCM available in Ireland, being, as yet, the only TCM college in Ireland to meet the requirements of the Irish educational system. The Teaching Program curriculum is also approved by 6th People’s Hospital and affiliated to Jiao Tong University and Shanghai University of TCM. Our Clinical Director, Dr Su Pin Chen, is Ireland’s official Representative to the EU and China Committees for Traditional Chinese Medicine, and she regularly attends all major Chinese and EU Conferences held by international acupuncture education authorities.

Placement in a teaching hospital

Placement in a teaching hospital in China, or our UK affiliate college clinics, if desired, or as an included (excepting travel/lodging) part of our Degree program. You will be trained by our own professors or guest lecturers.
